This is a winner in my home…especially on the colder days! JR just came home during his lunch hour and informed me that during his orders briefing, he was told 300 days ‘boots on ground’. For those of you who don’t know what that means, it means that the 8 month deployment just became a 10 month deployment. Boots on ground means that these 10 months start when he touches down in Kuwait and does not include the 2-3 weeks he will be spending in Norfolk for his briefing and debriefing. |
