Clorox is the Ultimate
It’s no secret that money is tight these days. With the price of everything going up and paychecks staying the same, you may be finding it difficult to buy those everyday necesseties at prices you can afford. Let’s start with my favorite cleaning supply…bleach!
Bleach is the most inexpensive cleaner per ounce and a little goes a long way! Get an empty spray bottle and write BLEACH on it in permanent marker, I recommend writing it in several places on the bottle. The formula for bleach is 1 part bleach to 4 parts water. Use bleach instead of:
Toilet bowl cleaner- The bottle of toilet bowl cleaner is really what you’re buying. It’s bent design lets you get up in the lip of the bowl with ease, but this area isn’t hard to get to. Buying this bottle at around $4 cleans your toilet about 7 times, but a $4 bottle of bleach, using the formula, can clean your toilet about 700 times!
Mopping the floor- A bottle of your preferred mopping solution can cost up to $10 a bottle. Tile, linoleum, marble, and just about any other kind of flooring does well with bleach. Do not use on wood floors.
Tub/Shower cleaner- This one can also get expensive.
Keep fresh flowers alive longer- The reason that fresh flowers die so quickly is because of the mold that grows in the water. A little bleach will prevent mold from growing and keep you flowers around much longer.
Some of the nastiest places- garbage can (inside and large outside one), diaper pails, and garbage disposals.
The uses of bleach are unbelievable and can save you a bundle when you replace all those other products with one bottle of the good stuff!
