Mommy Method

Hi Everyone,

I decided to write this article after running a bunch of errands yesterday and meeting a young lady with a serious problem.  She was about 17 or so, I met her in the checkout line of the grocery store.  I noticed, while standing behind her, that she seemed super insecure considering that most teenagers are all over the place and always glowing.  She made eye contact for only a second, long enough for me to see what the problem was.  She had one of the most severe cases of acne I have ever seen before.

So, the night before last was the second time I’ve had a chance to watch “To Catch A Predator”.  Once again, I love Chris Hansen and think it is so funny how he gets that daddy look everytime he approaches one of these sickos!  Sometimes, it almost seems like he wants to laugh at the things these guys say, other times I think he’s about to punch someone out!

Childhood obesity runs more than the risk of having an over-weight child.  Along with obesity, your child runs the risk of developing diabetes, heart problems, self-esteem issues, eating disorders, and breathing problems to name a few.  There are ways to avoid childhood obesity or fight current issues you may be facing with a child who is facing obesity. You can’t control what they eat when you’re not around, but you can control what they eat when you are and you can get them in a healthy routine!
