Today, saving money has taken center stage in topics of discussion, and rightfully so! Prices are going up and jobs and salaries are going down…at best staying the same. This is the checklist that I used when packing for the hospital. I packed all my things in celebration of beginning my third trimester (about 6-7 months). After you are all done packing, be sure to have the bag either by the front door or even in the trunk of your car. This way it’s ready when you are!

Within the past decade or so, classic gender roles have been shaken down and beaten out. It is not uncommon to find a mom putting on the hard hat while daddy stays home with the children. Similarly, it is not uncommon to find that a single daddy is taking care of the child/ren full time. Let’s face it, when we put peas or green beans on our child’s plate, we already know what we’re getting ourselves into. Chances are, even if we hide the veggies in their food, they will pick through it, find the vegetable, and put it to the side. We don’t want our children to go without the nutrients they need, but it seems almost impossible without force to get them to eat anything that isn’t carb or sugar related.
